International cat relocation
Plan an international cat move with carrier preparation, identification and documentation questions, controlled handover planning and an eligibility review.
Itinerary-specific review. No automatic booking or travel guarantee.
Plan for the cat, not just the flight.
An international cat relocation review starts with origin, destination, approximate size and preparation status. Share the breed or mix and whether more than one cat is moving. Legal entry requirements and airline acceptance must be checked separately; dog-specific rules should not be applied automatically to cats.
A passport, vaccination record or previous successful journey does not establish eligibility for a new move. Check current destination, origin and transit requirements for the actual dates and circumstances.

A suitable carrier and a controlled handover.
Measure the cat and review the intended carrier with the operating airline. The container should suit natural movement and the applicable transport method. Ask for advice on gradual familiarization before travel rather than assuming the cat will settle immediately in an unfamiliar carrier.
Discuss how doors will be secured and who is responsible during collection, check-in and destination handover. A quiet, controlled environment and a plan to prevent escape are sensible review questions; this page does not claim that a particular handling service or facility has been verified.

Individual circumstances deserve a separate conversation.
Discuss fitness for travel with your veterinarian, especially if the cat has an existing care need. Do not put medical records or a detailed diagnosis in the initial website form. Ask how to share any genuinely necessary information securely after the scope is established.
If the cat is a hybrid or another species rather than a domestic cat, say so during the review. Wildlife-trade requirements may differ. Do not infer eligibility from a common breed name or from the rules for domestic cats.

Questions for a more practical quote.
- Which travel method is actually available for this cat and itinerary?
- What are the carrier’s current container, check-in and water instructions?
- Who will receive the cat if the owner arrives separately or is delayed?
- Which identification, vaccination and certificate milestones need confirmation?
- What happens to timing and charges if a flight or document changes?
For multiple cats, confirm whether separate containers or other conditions apply. A household moving together does not automatically qualify for one shared container or one documentation process.
