Pet size and crate
Body measurements, carrier type, crate supply and number of animals can change the quote. A breed label alone does not determine the required crate.

Before you book
Pet relocation in Delhi NCR starts with the dog or cat's profile, exact pickup and destination, travel date and a suitable transport mode. A useful quote separates transport, crate, transfers and third-party costs. Your veterinarian assesses fitness; the selected carrier confirms acceptance.
For a local transfer, clarify the handover point and journey conditions. For an interstate move, compare total door-to-door time, not just the flight duration. For a cross-border journey, use the international pet relocation guide and destination-specific requirements.

Body measurements, carrier type, crate supply and number of animals can change the quote. A breed label alone does not determine the required crate.
Separate road freight or airline charges from home-to-terminal and terminal-to-home transfers. An airline fee alone is not a complete relocation price.
Ask about pickup access, waiting, document assistance, date changes and destination handover. An unlisted fee is unconfirmed, not automatically free.
Compare like with like
Compare the same pet, route, date and transport mode. Add the figures from two written quotes; this tool does not generate a ShiftGo estimate.
| Quote component (INR) | Quote A | Quote B |
|---|---|---|
| Road / airline transport | ||
| Crate / carrier | ||
| Pickup / terminal transfer | ||
| Delivery / receiving transfer | ||
| Vet / document charges | ||
| Tax / other agreed costs |
Leave an unknown amount blank. Use zero only where the written quote confirms inclusion at no extra charge.
Before choosing, also check the handler and handover responsibilities, update arrangements, cancellation terms and any protection policy in writing. A lower total alone does not establish a better welfare plan.
Choose for your companion
Neither mode is right for every pet. Compare the entire journey, including waiting and transfers.
Road
For a road proposal, ask whether the vehicle is dedicated or shared, who accompanies the pet and how ventilation, temperature and breaks are handled. Get pickup, receiving contact and delay arrangements written down.
Long routes require a realistic door-to-door schedule. Do not assume air-conditioning, an escort or live tracking is included without written confirmation.
Air
Ask which airline, flight and travel category are proposed: accompanied cabin, checked baggage or cargo. Acceptance depends on airline rules, combined pet-and-carrier size, breed, documents, route and date.
A short flight is only one part of the trip. Include check-in, terminal waiting, transfers and destination release.
Share breed, age, standing measurements, crate experience and travel concerns. For a puppy, senior dog or short-nosed breed, ask your veterinarian about suitability and check the carrier's restrictions individually.
Share carrier familiarity and anxiety concerns. Discuss how the carrier remains secure during transfers and where the recipient can open it without an escape risk. Persian and other short-faced cats also need individual review.
Prepare with care
Our recommended preparation framework for your enquiry and written plan. It is not a certification, a guarantee or evidence that every listed arrangement is included.
Record age, breed, measurements and travel concerns. Ask your veterinarian about fitness and medications; a planner cannot clear your pet for travel.
Compare road and air proposals against total journey time, transfers, date flexibility and current carrier acceptance.
Review the actual container, not just its label. Prepare gradually and have the selected carrier confirm suitability.
Discuss temperature-sensitive handling and what happens if travel is delayed. Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle; ask your vet about heat risks.
Check the carrier's current list, record requirements and recipient details. Keep cross-border documentation separate from a domestic move.
Agree where the pet changes hands, who is responsible at each stage, and how contact, access and feeding notes are shared.
Ask who provides updates, by which channel and at which stages. Do not assume GPS, continuous monitoring or a specific response time.
Name the receiving person, confirm the handover location and prepare a quiet space. Seek veterinary advice if your pet seems unwell.
Welfare references: IATA pet travel guidance and AVMA warm-weather safety. Preparation does not remove travel risk.
Keep the preparation checklist and care overview before requesting a quote. No email signup or booking is required. These dog-and-cat resources do not establish acceptance for other species; ask your veterinarian and selected carrier about your animal's requirements.
Container preparation
A crate should allow natural standing, turning and lying. Size alone does not establish airline acceptance. Confirm ventilation, construction, door, fasteners and carrier-specific rules.
This tool records measurements, not a crate-size recommendation or an IATA approval. Check IATA's measurement and container guidance with the selected carrier.
Avoid last-minute surprises
Start early enough for veterinary appointments, crate familiarization and carrier review. Requirements and certificate validity depend on your specific route.
Before selecting travel
Discuss travel fitness and anxiety with your vet. Share the intended destination and mode, and review any breed, age or health restrictions with the carrier.
Before confirming a booking
Ask about vaccination records, owner identification, health or fitness certificates, their validity dates, crate requirements and the exact receiving arrangements.
At pickup and arrival
Keep document copies and agreed instructions available. Confirm both contacts and the transfer location. Agree a fallback before a disruption occurs.
For international pet relocation from Delhi, the destination authority and India's Animal Quarantine and Certification Services may require a separate review. Do not apply an international checklist automatically to a domestic Delhi-to-Mumbai or Delhi-to-Bangalore journey.
One city name is not a plan
These are route-planning prompts, not confirmed departures or a promise of availability. Share your destination to review the actual mode and date.
Compare complete road and air scope: crate, both transfers, destination release and who receives your pet.
For a longer journey, review total elapsed time, waiting conditions and the pet's crate experience, not flight time alone.
Ask which transport category is proposed and whether pickup and delivery are included or separate.
Check direct versus connecting travel and whether a ground transfer changes time, cost or responsibility.
Confirm the receiving person's availability, local handover address and the arrangement if the proposed journey changes.
Discuss road journey conditions and carrier eligibility individually; a shorter route is not automatic medical clearance.
For Dwarka, Rohini, Saket, Vasant Kunj and other Delhi localities, share the PIN, building access and a practical handover point. For Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad or Ghaziabad, discuss the real pickup location rather than treating all of NCR as one address. These names are planning examples, not ShiftGo office locations.
Know what you are agreeing to
Enquire directly with ShiftGo: +91 92203 06734 or support@shiftgo.in. No price guarantee or airline approval is implied by submitting this form.
Keep transport, crate, transfers, document assistance, taxes and any third-party fees separate. Confirm excluded items and when payment is due.
Ask who handles each transfer, what information is shared and how changes are communicated. Confirm the mode and route in writing before booking.
If a provider offers insurance or protection, request its policy, exclusions and claims process. Never assume unlimited coverage or a zero-risk journey.
Share pet type, breed, age, size, route and preferred date. Ask for a written plan suited to those details.
Pet-owner questions
Cost depends on your pet, route, mode, crate, transfers, date and agreed scope. The price tables show sourced third-party references, not ShiftGo prices. Request an itemized written quote for your actual dog or cat and destination.
Share your dog's breed, age, weight, crate status, pickup PIN and destination. Compare road and air proposals against complete journey time, carrier acceptance, handovers and total included costs. Availability must be confirmed for your date.
Yes, share your cat's profile and route for review. Include carrier familiarity, anxiety concerns and receiving-person details. Confirm the proposed carrier, transfers and secure destination handover before booking.
Neither is universally better. Road involves journey conditions and time; air adds carrier restrictions, terminal waiting and transfers. Discuss the proposed journey with your veterinarian and confirm the exact carrier rules.
Ask the chosen carrier for its current route-specific list. Vaccination records, owner identification and veterinary health or fitness documents may be requested. Check validity dates directly; international requirements are a separate process.
A suitable container is important, especially for air travel. The actual dimensions, construction and carrier rules need review. Do not treat the crate tool, an IATA-style label or the pet's weight as an approval.
Discuss anxiety and travel suitability with your veterinarian. Allow time for gradual carrier familiarization. Agree secure handovers and ask who is responsible for the pet during each stage.
Age and health need individual veterinary and carrier review. Do not apply one carrier's minimum age to every mode or pet. A route enquiry does not establish fitness or acceptance.
Ask about temperature-sensitive handling, waiting and a fallback if the journey changes. Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle. Discuss heat sensitivity with your veterinarian and check the selected carrier's restrictions.
Check transport, crate, pickup and delivery transfers, handling, documents, applicable tax and exclusions. Also confirm payment and cancellation terms, handover responsibilities and update arrangements. Blank or unlisted charges are not automatically free.
There is no guaranteed transit time. Ask for the proposed complete door-to-door schedule, including transfers, check-in or waiting and receiving arrangements. Weather, carrier decisions and route changes can affect it.
Before paying, ask for written rescheduling, cancellation and waiting-charge terms, and who looks after the pet during a disruption. No free reschedule or fallback booking should be assumed.
Do not routinely sedate a pet for travel. Medication decisions belong to your veterinarian, and carrier rules must also be checked. A transporter or online planner should not prescribe treatment.
Use the free on-page preparation kit and the documented ShiftGo Pet Care Standard as a review checklist, not as a welfare certification or guaranteed service level.
Read the documented care-review checklist and preparation kit. Air India guidance is for domesticated cats and dogs, not evidence of bird acceptance or a ShiftGo airline partnership.
