A fair vehicle transport quote is more than route distance
Vehicle transport cost by distance in India cannot be judged from kilometers alone. A useful quote should state the route, vehicle type, carrier method, pickup and delivery scope, running condition, loading needs, storage rules, taxes or add-ons where applicable, protection wording and handover evidence.

What distance changes in a vehicle transport quote
Access, loading window, parking, local permits and minimum carrier effort can matter more than kilometers.
Carrier availability, hub routing, shared load planning, return load and handover timing can change the quote structure.
A city-to-city headline may not include village access, narrow lanes, society timing, basement parking or long-carry handover.

Handover evidence checklist
Keep the file simple. You need evidence that connects the quote, payment, vehicle condition and delivery inspection.
Take four-side photos, close-ups of existing marks, odometer, fuel level, tyre condition, dashboard lights, loose accessories and keys.
Save the written quote, receipt or consignment record, pickup person details, carrier type, declared value or protection note and payment proof.
Keep route messages, date changes, storage notes, additional charge messages and any written exception from the provider.
Inspect panels, mirrors, underbody-visible areas, odometer, fuel, accessories and keys before closing the delivery acknowledgement.
